| Abstract: | Calderón de La Barca wrote that life is a dream, and that dreams are just dreams. But no, dreams can become true; you only need to have a wish and fight for it; it is just a matter of faith and strength, alliances and loyalties, collaboration, energy; it has to do with building roads, with learning to get back on our feet no matter how many times we fall flat on our faces. Over the years in which the ALICE (Latin America Interconnected with Europe) project was developed we learned this lesson. This, together with the strong collaboration commitment in pursuit of the great dream of establishing a Latin American Advanced Academic Network enabling regional unity for the development of science, education, research and innovation as well as paving our way towards developed countries, starting with those in Europe, was what led us to make that great dream come true: our RedCLARA. |
| Description: | Calderón de La Barca escreveu que toda vida é sonho e os sonhos, sonhos são. Mas não, os sonhos são acessíveis, é questão de desejar e lutar por isso, é questão de fé e força, de alianças e lealdades, de construção de caminhos, de colaboração, de impulso, de aprender a levantar-se sem importar quantas vezes demos contra o chão. Ao longo dos anos de desenvolvimento do projeto Alice (América Latina Interconectada Com a Europa), nós aprendemos esta grande lição, e esta aprendizagem foi um forte compromisso de cooperação para alcançar o grande sonho de estabelecer uma rede acadêmica avançada de caráter latino-americano, que permitisse a união regional para o desenvolvimento da ciência, educação, pesquisa e inovação, e que abrisse a rota para os países desenvolvidos, começando por aqueles do velho continente. O que nos conduziu à consecução desse grande sonho foi a nossa RedeCLARA. |
